The up and down variants accommodate different wall heights and curtain drop requirements — up connectors mount the track above the connector bracket, down connectors hang the track below.

When should I use wall mount instead of ceiling or beam flange mounting?

Wall mounting is the right choice when ceiling or beam overhead access is not available — for example, in finished rooms where ceiling drilling is not practical, or in areas where the overhead structure does not allow for top-down installation. Wall mount hardware positions the track along the wall face rather than overhead, which can also be useful for low-ceiling environments or partial-height curtain dividers.

Do I need to buy track lengths and rollers separately?

What gauge steel is the wall mount hardware made from?

All wall mount curtain track hardware is made from USA made 16 gauge rust resistant galvanized steel — the same specification as the rest of the Strong Arm curtain track hardware line.

Yes — all Strong Arm curtain track hardware uses compatible track profiles and joining hardware, so wall mount sections can connect to ceiling mount, beam flange, or threaded rod sections across a single installation where the structure changes.
