This rating classifies them as static dissipative, making them effective at preventing electrostatic discharge (ESD) buildup in sensitive cleanroom and electronics manufacturing environments.

What is the difference between static dissipative and anti-static curtains?

Static dissipative materials (like our standard cleanroom PVC) slowly bleed off static charge rather than blocking it entirely. Our permanently static dissipative urethane polysim material option goes further — it prevents plastic outgassing and provides reliable ESD protection even in low humidity environments where standard anti-static materials can lose effectiveness. The polysim option is Class 1 fire-rated for both flame spread and smoke test compliance.

What sizes are available?

Custom sizing is available from 12 to 180 inches in both width and length. Strip thickness is available at .080 mil (8" wide strips) and .120 mil (12" wide strips). All strips are pre-punched and ready to mount with the included aluminum hardware.

What mounting hardware is included?

Each kit includes your choice of universal mount aluminum system (for overhead or suspended installation) or face mount aluminum system (for wall face installation). Both options are included in the kit price — select your preferred mounting method when ordering.

Are these curtains available in colors other than clear?

Yes. While the standard cleanroom curtain is clear vinyl for maximum visibility and line of sight, color options are available for areas requiring enhanced privacy or zone color-coding within your facility. Contact us to discuss color availability for your application.

Is there a DIY bulk roll option for cleanroom applications?

Yes. If you prefer to cut and punch your own strips, our Anti-Static PVC Bulk Rolls are available for DIY cleanroom curtain installations. Bulk rolls do not include mounting hardware.
