What lengths are available for welding curtain rolls?

Our welding curtain rolls are available in 25 ft, 50 ft, and 75 ft lengths. All lengths are available in yellow, orange, blue, and Shade 8 dark green. Select your length and color as variants when ordering.

What height are these curtain rolls?

All welding curtain rolls measure 5 ft 4 in in height. This is the standard welding station curtain height, providing full coverage for seated and standing welding operations while keeping the bottom of the curtain clear of the floor.

What material are the rolls made from?

Our standard welding curtain rolls are made from 14 mil Weld-View transparent vinyl in yellow, orange, blue, or Shade 8 dark green. Each color provides UV flash protection and spark/spatter containment while maintaining visibility through the tinted material. What welding processes are these rolls suitable for?

These welding curtain rolls are suitable for MIG, TIG, plasma, and stick welding environments. The 14 mil Weld-View material blocks UV radiation from weld flash and contains sparks and spatter within the welding zone.

How are the rolls mounted?

#2 grommets (3/8" holes) are punched along the long side at 12" centers, providing evenly spaced mounting points across the full length of the roll. Hang directly from the grommets using standard curtain hooks, S-hooks, or a roller track system.

Can I cut the roll to a shorter length?

Yes. Simply cut to your required length with heavy scissors or a utility knife. The vinyl material cuts cleanly. If you cut a 75 ft roll to a shorter length you can use the remaining material for an adjacent section or a second curtain run.

What is the difference between these rolls and the custom curtain rolls?

These DIY rolls are stocked in 14 mil Weld-View vinyl in standard lengths and are ready to ship in 3–5 business days. Our Welding Curtain Rolls Custom configurator allows you to specify any width, length, material (including canvas and heavy clear vinyl), color, and grommet placement — built to your exact requirements.

Are these rolls flame retardant certified?

Yes. All welding curtain rolls are NFPA-701 and CFM (California Fire Marshal) certified flame retardant — compliant for commercial and industrial welding environments.
